How to copy or save a rental listing page on Android Chrome
On Android Chrome, you may be able to copy text directly from a rental listing page. If that does not work, you can save the page as a PDF and use Chintai Checker to read the text.
Method 1: Copy and paste the text
📱 Open the listing page in Chrome
Open the rental listing page in Android Chrome.
🔽 Open hidden detail sections
Open sections such as more details or show more if they appear.
📋 Select and copy the text
Long-press the page text and copy the range you want to check.
📝 Paste it into Chintai Checker
Paste the text into the input box and review it.
✅ Review and check
Review the pasted text before running the self-check.
Method 2: Save as PDF and check
📱 Open the listing page in Chrome
Open the listing page you want to save as a PDF.
⚠️ If you are using SUUMO, open sections such as “details” or “show more” near the bottom of the listing page before saving it as a PDF. Collapsed sections may not be included in the PDF.
📤 Open Share or Print
Use the menu to choose Share or Print.
🖨️ Save as PDF
In the print screen, choose Save as PDF.
📝 Read text from PDF in Chintai Checker
Return to Chintai Checker and choose the saved PDF.
✅ Review the extracted text and check
Review the extracted text before running the self-check.
Caution and privacy
Menu names may differ depending on your Android or Chrome version. App-only screens or image-only PDFs may not be readable.
On SUUMO listing pages, open collapsed sections such as “show more” or “details” before saving the PDF so the text is easier to read.
Pages such as at home may not have collapsed detail sections, so they can be saved as they are. The selected PDF is used only in your browser to read text and is not saved to the server.
FAQ
What if I cannot copy the whole page?
Copying only the important sections, such as costs, notes, special clauses, equipment, and contract conditions, is also useful.
Is the PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is read inside your browser and is not uploaded or saved on the server.
Can app-only screens be read?
They may not work. A browser page opened in Chrome is more suitable for this helper.
